Oxford Playhouse is a vibrant and busy theatre open 50 weeks a year hosting a varied programme which includes quality drama, dance, comedy, theatre, music and children’s theatre. Many productions visit immediately before or after a run in London’s West End and the theatre prides itself on regular visits from international companies and productions from around the globe. Two or three times a year the Playhouse presents productions created
in-house, some of which go on to tour nationally and internationally. The theatre attracts a wide cross-section of audience, runs an extensive education and access programme and offers concessionary tickets on most productions to under 18s, over 60’s, students and patrons with disabilities or those in receipt of benefits. Oxford Playhouse also has a stylish café bar open 10am – 11pm Monday – Saturday.
